After leaving office in 2017, former VP Joe Biden became involved in academia: at the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Delaware (read more about it here).
After one year at UPenn, he now launches a new center at Washington, the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Engagement. This center will be lead by Biden himself, and will be a place for debate and discussion on foreign affairs and politics. Penn's President, Amy Gutmann says that this center "is absolutely essential in furthering diplomacy and global engagement that is needed to advance the world order."
This is indeed some exciting news for Penn's current and prospective students, and alumni!
