Stephanie Bonduki Salem was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Her whole life she dreamed of studying abroad, but thought that it would never be possible. However, after extensive research and dedication, she decided to go for it.
Her dedication and sacrifice were worth it. She ended up being accepted at over 10 schools in the US and in the UK (such as Wharton- UPenn, Columbia University, Georgetown University, LSE, UCL, Kings College London, and the University of Warwick) and enrolled in the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. In May 2015 she graduated with a degree in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Behavioral Economics. At university, she worked with research and as a teaching assistant, which led her to apply for a master's degree. In 2016 she was admitted to Columbia University for a master's in public policy, but decided to return to Brazil in order to pursue her dream of starting an education business.
Prior to founding PrepMe, Stephanie was an alumni interviewer for the University of Pennsylvania for 3 years. She is now a director of the Wharton Club of Brazil and is the Brazilian ambassador for her graduating class.
Stephanie has had previous experience working in finance, marketing, and education, and fell in love with the latter, which is why she founded PrepMe. Her expertise in the areas of behavioral economics and education has allowed her to develop unique educational methodologies that help students become more efficient, and hence, get better results. She continues to innovate and expand PrepMe, so stay tuned for news.
